Am 16. Mai 2010 verstarb der alt ehrwürdige Rockstar Ronnie James DIO im Alter von 68 Jahren und erlag damit seiner Krankheit nach nur kurzer Zeit.
DIOs Frau und Managerin gab erst im November 2009 bekannt dass bei Ihrem Ehemann Magenkrebs im Frühstadium entdeckt wurde. Im April 2010 sagte DIO noch selber er sei optimistisch den Krebs besiegen zu können.

DIO selber hätte bestimmt gewollt das wir Metaller für Ihn eine Pommesgabel gen Sonne schicken und dann herzhaft lachen, um ihn in guter Erinnerung zu behalten.
In diesem Sinne schließe ich mit den Worten von Tenacious D, die da singen:
